We're always looking for a few good people, who are knowledgable about horses and riding, who have the time to volunteer and go through background checks and training.

Each officer must supply their own horse, tack, boarding, feed, truck and trailer. Each member must complete the mounted law enforcement course sponsored by the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy.

Training consists of crowd control and police tactics, formation riding, interpersonal communication skills, search & rescue techniques and traffic control and enforcement.
